Texas, that is!
Established in 1924 in Lamb County, the small
farming community of Earth, Texas is located on Texas Highway 70 and intersects with Farm Road
1055 at the stoplight.
Earth is in the West Texas Panhandle area and is located 40 miles east of the Texas and
New Mexico border, 45 miles west of Plainview, 50 miles east of Clovis, NM, 70 miles northwest of Lubbock,
and 90 miles southwest of Amarillo.

Earth is a cotton and grain producing center. The development of farm
irrigation has made the rich soil a top producer in the region. You will see
this irrigation system on hundreds of acres of farm land in the area.
Standing high above the town buildings, the Earth water tower is a beacon for
miles around to all visitors coming to Earth for another visit.
Earth is a friendly country town and has many of the services needed for visitors coming
to the area.

Information:
Pheasant. Hunters find abundant pheasant during season. Bag limit: three cocks. Possession limit: six cocks.
Quail. Statewide Open season: October 27-February 24. Daily bag limit: 15
Possession limit: 45
Mule Deer. General Season: November 17-25. Bag limit: 2 deer, no more than
one buck. Antlerless deer may be taken only by Antlerless Mule Deer or MLD
